Spices and Blends

A Spotted Apron has herbs and spices from Allspice to Turmeric, available in smaller quantities to keep your spice cabinet fresh and exciting.  We make your favorite blends without preservatives to give your recipes the best flavors:

  • Baking Blend – replace plain cinnamon with this blend in any of your cookie, bread or dessert recipes.  It will become your “secret” ingredient!
  • Bavarian Blend – bring the taste of Bavarian Germany home to make any night an Oktoberfest celebration.  Bavarian blend is great on chicken, pork, or potatoes.
  • BBQ Blend – Sweet, smoky and a hint of spicy, use this blend to season pork, chicken or beef for that just off the grill flavor!
  • Cajun Blend – A taste of New Orleans, full of flavor without the extreme heat. Season fish, chicken, seafood, potatoes and sweet corn.
  • Caribbean Jerk Blend – Taste the flavors of the Caribbean…sweet, savory and just a touch of heat. This blend is great on shellfish, fish and chicken!
  • Holiday Cereal Mix – Dry spices ready for Chex™ Party Mix. No chemicals like the packets from the store.
  • Chai Coffee – Cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and ginger spice up this Arabica coffee.  Brew it up and serve it hot or iced! Now available in decaf and cold brew grind!
  • Chai Tea – Green tea leaves mixed with cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and ginger for an exotic Indian treat. Brew to drink hot or iced.
  • Chili-Lime Blend – Dried lime peel and mild chili powder add a zing to chicken, fish or shrimp. Extra lime flavor can be added when you use with our Persian Lime Olive Oil. Mix the blend with salt or sugar to rim your margarita or bloody Mary glass!
  • Chimichurri Rub – Enjoy the Brazilian BBQ at home! This peppery blend goes well with any type of meat, chicken or fish. Includes a recipe for the fresh sauce that finishes the dish.
  • Chinese 5 Spice – Anise, cinnamon, clove, fennel, and Sichuan peppercorns make this exotic spice blend delicious in sauces, stir-fry, and glazes for roasting or grilling…it will be your secret ingredient in baked beans and pumpkin pie!
  • Curry Blend – This yellow curry will add spice and flavor to your vegetables, chicken, fish, or tofu.
  • Dill Dip – Use to season potatoes as well for dip. No dairy included, add what you want to eat!
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning – Garlic, onion, sesame seeds, poppy seeds and salt will flavor your eggs, vegetables, chicken, and pork. Adds crunch to your fish, and flavor to your favorite bread.
  • Fajita Blend – Low salt, just great lemon flavor mixed with chili. Marinate with lemon or lime olive oil for a boost of citrus flavor.
  • Freedom Blend – Free from salt or pepper, use this to season your favorite meats and vegetables!
  • Mugdha’s Garam Masala – My dear friend Mugdha shared her garam masala recipe.  This is a pantry staple for any Indian kitchen, bursting with exotic flavors.
  • Greek Blend – Bring a taste of the Mediterranean home.  Make gyros, dips, dressings, and marinades!
  • Harbor Blend – Add a touch to melted butter or warmed olive oil and brush on your favorite fish, seafood, or chicken before grilling or baking. Tastes delicious on corn-on-the-cob too!
  • Herbes de Provence – Lavender flowers give this blend a unique flavor to your vegetables, chicken or pork.
  • Italian Blend – Great for pizza, dressing, or any Italian dish, it’s bursting with the flavors from Italy!
  • Lemon Pepper – The light, citrusy flavor spices up your fish, chicken, or vegetables salt-free.  Caution to those with nut allergies.
  • Montreal Steak Rub – This rub adds rich color and flavor to your steaks, chops, or pot roast.
  • Moroccan Blend – We’re bringing the exotic flavors from North Africa with Kashmiri Chili, sumac and spearmint. Great in stews, on chicken and fish. Make a paste with lime olive oil, or lemon juice.
  • Mulling Spice – Spice up your favorite juice or wine.  Place Mulling Spice into the juice as it warms for a taste of Fall and home. Seasonal.
  • Parisian Blend – Shallots, chives and scallions are sweetened with tarragon and chervil in this bright blend that pairs well with eggs. Make “eggcelent” omelets, salads, casseroles and scrambles your family and friends will love!
  • Pickling Spice – Great for cucumbers, beans, asparagus, and corned beef!
  • Poultry Seasoning – Traditional flavors for stewing or roasting chicken, also the best in dressings and stuffings.
  • Ranch Mix – It’s dairy free and great for dips, dressings, and spicing up your roasted potatoes!
  • Rotisserie Blend – Use for roasting, grilling, or baking chicken and pork!
  • Seasoned Salt – Get the original or smoky blend for your kitchen.  Use it on anything and everything!
  • Black Seasoned Salt – Our special black salt uses Black Hawaiian Salt from the lava sand beaches of the islands. Use it on beef, pork, chicken.
  • St. Augustine Blend – A zesty herb blend with ground orange peel. Use with Blood Orange olive oil to marinate shrimp, fish, chicken or steaks!
  • Shallot Pepper Blend – Peppery, oniony goodness with the mellowness of tarragon and bay. Use on eggs, chicken, pork, or fish.
  • Green Taco Blend – This tasty blend of green bell peppers flakes, Tellicherry peppercorns, and just a touch of cayenne pepper makes a great alternative to the chili blends. Try it for fish tacos!
  • Taco Blend – Whether you like it mild or hot, we use the highest quality chili powders that you can add to your favorite ground beef, turkey, or chicken.
  • Vincenzo Blend – Custom blend of herbs, spices and lemon peel. Blend it into your burgers before grilling. Also great for fish and chicken!
